Book One

While at the library in Saskatoon, I couldn’t seem to settle on any one book, so I went to the lady at the desk. I asked her for her suggestion; she asked what I liked to read so I responded with some authors names such as Kurt Vonnegut and Cornelia Funk. She handed me the book WINKIE and told me that it was a book about a teddy bear that became a bomber and went crazy. I reluctantly agreed to start reading, it took a while to get into and then finally about twenty pages in I couldn’t put it down. Everything that is happening in the book is so real although happening to an unusual character. WINKIE, the teddy bear, has such real emotions. Last night when I was reading before bed I even made myself get up and get my own Teddy bear to sleep with. The book is making me realise that everyone has emotions and that built up energy and feelings can explode. People are easily wrongfully convicted and blamed and that through all the weirdness that is WINKIE you can find truth and love.

First Ever Blog

This is my first blog. I am sitting at a school computer beside my friend who also is writing her first ever blog. Every week we are required to write a blog about the book we are reading in english twenty. we are going on monday to the library to get books that interest us. Blog about it later. peace
